Job summary

Greenwood Associates Inc. is seeking a Production General Laborer to support daily manufacturing operations. You will operate basic production equipment, assemble, label, palletize, and load materials while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and the ability to follow detailed work instructions in a fast-paced environment at our Illinois facility. Monday–Friday shifts with early start times are common; training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety procedures.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic production equipment as assigned and trained.
• Assemble, package, label, and palletize products according to production specifications.
• Load and unload raw material and finished goods.
• Inspect products for quality defects and report issues to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Assist with machine setup and changeovers.
• Monitor production lines to ensure efficient workflow.
• Complete production records and required documentation accurately.
• Perform other duties as assigned by production supervisors or management.

The Production General Laborer reports to the production supervisor and is responsible for supporting daily manufacturing and production operations by performing a variety of manual labor tasks. This role ensures products are produced efficiently, safely, and according to quality standards while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Schedule Requirements

Monday-Friday; flexibility to start anywhere from 5am-12pm preferred
