Job summary

ManpowerGroup is partnering with a leading manufacturing and distribution organization in Woodstock, Alabama, to hire a Production General Laborer. You will support production, load/unload, palletize lawn and garden products, and maintain a safe, clean workspace.

The role demands the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and endure a Monday–Friday 6:00 AM–4:30 PM shift, with occasional overtime. Starting pay is $16.00 per hour, with potential for increases and a path to permanent employment after 90

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Must stand, walk, bend, twist, and perform physical labor for extended periods.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or landscaping is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manually load, unload, and palletize lawn and garden products (potting mix, mulch)
• Safely lift and move products weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the shift
• Stack, organize, and wrap pallets according to production requirements
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety policies and procedures
• Assist with other warehouse and production-related duties as assigned

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and distribution industry, is seeking a Production General Laborer to join their team. As a Production General Laborer, you will be part of the production support team, contributing to efficient operations and maintaining a safe work environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to perform physical tasks consistently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Production General Laborer

Location: Woodstock, AL

Starting Pay: $16.00 per hour

Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

*Some afternoon and weekend overtime may be required based on production demands at times.

Work Environment

• Employees will be required to work outdoors at times as part of daily job duties.
• Position involves continuous physical activity, including repetitive lifting, bending, standing, and walking throughout the shift.
