Job summary

Fairbanks Morse Defense in Carson, CA is hiring General Labor (Level 1-3) to support production operations. You will perform cleaning, load/unload parts for powder coating, spot welding, basic press operation, deburring, and contribute to a safe, efficient manufacturing floor.

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Basic understanding of safety protocols and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning designated areas and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
• Load/Unload parts for powder coating and inspect parts for quality.
• Conduct spot welding operations following safety guidelines.
• Assist in basic press operation and perform quality checks on parts.
• Perform deburring to remove sharp edges on metal parts.
• Adhere to PPE requirements and report safety hazards promptly.
• Keep work areas organized and assist teammates to meet production goals.
