Job summary

Belstra Milling Co. in Demotte, IN is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented office/warehouse associate. The role blends data entry, customer service, and light warehouse duties to support order processing, shipping, and fulfillment in a production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Enter feed orders into the manufacturing program.
  • Print orders, tags, and related documents.
  • Scan documentation to Accounting and maintain records.
  • Assist walk-in and phone customers and pickups.
  • Address customer concerns professionally and resolve issues.
  • Coordinate shipping and delivery information.
  • Prepare shipping labels and documentation for LTLs.
  • Communicate fulfillment timing changes with internal teams and customers.
  • Assist with Warehouse and Production tasks including 10# line, bagging, labeling.
  • Learn and operate a forklift as needed.

Belstra Milling Co. is a family-owned agricultural business based in Demotte, IN. We are searching for a self-motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented individual with strong office and customer service skills who is comfortable working in a warehouse and production environment as needed. Belstra thrives on making quality feed for livestock producers of all sizes. In addition, this position must work in compliance with all the company policies, local, state, and federal policies, laws, and regulations.

Job Duties and Responsibilities to learn and earn certification (included but not limited to):
  • Correctly enter feed orders into our Feed Mill Manager manufacturing program
  • Print orders, tags, BOL’s and related documents
  • Scan documentation to Accounting and maintain accurate records
  • Assist walk-in customers, phone customers and pickups
  • Address customer concerns professionally and work toward appropriate solutions
  • Setup and coordinate shipping and delivery information
  • Prepare shipping labels and required documentation for LTL’s
  • Communicate fulfillment timing issues and changes with internal personnel and to customers
  • Assist with various Warehouse and Production tasks including 10# line, bagging, labeling and other tasks as needed
  • Willingness to learn and be able to operate a forklift

Physical Demands:
  • Ability to lift up to 60-pounds
  • Ability to work in dusty, cold, hot, humid, noisy environment
  • Withstand exposure to seasonal weather conditions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production and fulfillment environment
  • This positon requires the ability to walk, kneel, bend, climb, etc.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Relevant experience preferred, but not required
  • Customer service and fulfillment experience preferred, but not required
  • Shipping and Freight setup experience preferred, but not required
