Job summary

Formentera Operations LLC is seeking a Production Foreman to supervise field operations, oversee lease operators and subcontractors, and ensure safe, efficient well production and maintenance at our Texas facilities.

You will prioritize daily production, coordinate crews, review performance, ensure environmental and safety compliance, and collaborate with engineering to optimize downtime and LOE in a demanding oilfield environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 8+ years of oil and gas field experience.
• Active driver’s license with safe driving record.
• Familiarity with oil and gas measurement processes and data gathering.
• Experience with gas lift, rod lift, ESPs and multi-well facilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee execution of field activities in support of well production and maintenance, supervising lease operators and subcontractors.
• Coordinate priorities and schedules for lease operators and roustabouts.
• Review daily well production to identify losses and downtime.
• Supervise construction of production facilities, pipelines and lift equipment.
• Manage preventative maintenance and chemical programs.
• Minimize LOE and optimize well run times through field reviews with engineering staff.
• Communicate with Production Engineer daily on issues.
• Ensure environmental and safety compliance.

Job description

The Production Foreman is responsible for management of field operations with regard to well maintenance and well production. This is a supervisory position, and the candidate will oversee company lease operators and subcontractors. This person is expected to give support to other groups inside Formentera to ensure the overall success of our operations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee overall execution of activities in support of ongoing well production and maintenance. Includes supervision of company lease operators and subcontractors
• Coordinate priorities and schedule of lease operators and roustabout crews
• Daily review of well production and identify lost production and downtime
• Supervise construction of production facilities, pipeline installations and artificial lift equipment
• Management and optimization of preventative maintenance and chemical programs
• Minimize LOE and optimize well run times through collaborative well and field reviews with engineering staff
• Communicate with Production Engineer on a daily basis to update on any issues
• Ensure all environmental and safety compliance issues are met
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Strong conflict management and time management skills

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED, required
• 8+ years of related oil and gas field experience
• Active driver’s license and safe driving record
• Familiarity with oil and gas measurement processes and data gathering
• Experience with gas lift, rod lift, electrical submersible pumps and multi-well commingled facilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• H2S Training
• HAZWOPER Certification
• First Aid / CPR Certification

Physical Requirements: (with or without reasonable accommodation)

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance
• Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator
• Ability to work in harsh weather conditions
