Job summary

Alamo Group is seeking a Production Foreman to supervise daily manufacturing operations including production, assembly, welding and finishing of grapples and heavy equipment attachments. This role leads production staff, ensures safety and quality standards, and drives productivity to meet customer delivery schedules.

The position requires coordinating with engineering, maintenance and management to optimize workflow and maintain equipment readiness, while supervising time tracking and payroll

The Production Foreman is responsible for supervising daily manufacturing operations related to the production, assembly, welding, fabrication, and finishing of grapples, loaders, and related heavy equipment attachments. This position leads production employees, ensures safety and quality standards are maintained, and drives productivity to meet customer delivery schedules. The Production Foreman serves as a key liaison between production teams, engineering, quality, maintenance, and management to ensure operational excellence.

Overview

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Directly supervises production employees, welders, fabricators, assemblers, machine operators, and other manufacturing personnel.
• Supporting production supervisor to meet production and safety standards
• Direct responsibility for all employee time tracking, payroll reporting and approval
• Ensure production material systems are functioning properly
• Provides leadership, coaching, training, and performance management.
• Assists with employee development, disciplinary actions, and performance evaluations.
• Supervise daily production activities and shop personnel.
• Assign work and monitor productivity to meet production schedules.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and OSHA standards.
• Maintain quality standards and resolve production issues.
• Train, coach, and support production employees.
• Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, and management to improve workflow and efficiency.
• Monitor equipment and report maintenance needs.
