Job summary

Victaulic is seeking a dedicated Floor Trainer to support on-floor training, coaching, and reinforcement of safety, quality, and standard work on our manufacturing floor. This hourly role focuses on onboarding new hires and developing existing staff by hands-on instruction, evaluating progress, and delivering targeted coaching to ensure consistent methods and adherence to approved processes.

You'll maintain training records, communicate needs to supervision, and participate in FEM/5S initiatives

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in manufacturing and/or steel fabrication environment required.
• Experience training, mentoring, coaching, or assisting employees preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of manufacturing processes and production-floor practices.
• Familiarity with coatings and linings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support onboarding and floor training of new employees.
• Provide hands-on, job-specific training in the production environment.
• Demonstrate proper manufacturing methods, processes, and work procedures.
• Train and assist employees in operating machinery, equipment, or processes.
• Evaluate understanding and identify areas needing additional training.
• Reinforce safety procedures, quality expectations, and standardized work.
• Maintain training records and documentation.
• Communicate training progress and skill gaps to supervision.
• Assist FEM/5S activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
