Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a production teammate to support a manufacturing operation in Michigan. You will join a team focused on increasing productivity, reducing downtime and waste, and assisting all plant-floor roles.

Applicants should be prepared to work first or second shift, overtime, and weekends as needed, while maintaining a strong safety record and adherence to 5S standards. This role involves occasional heavy lifting and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be willing to work overtime and weekends.
• Must be willing to work first and second shift.
• Good attendance record required.
• Experience in a packaging or manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to increase productivity and reduce downtime and waste.
• Assume active role in plant and facilities-related work; assist all jobs on the plant floor.
• Follow all safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures.
• Maintain shop and shop equipment per 5S Standards.
• May be required to stack parts up to 30 lbs for up to 12 hours.
• Other duties as assigned.
