Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a production support candidate to work in a busy manufacturing environment. The role emphasizes teamwork to boost productivity, reduce downtime, and cut waste on the plant floor.

Candidates should be able to follow 5S standards, observe lock-out tag-out safety procedures, and maintain safe work practices while supporting various shifts and occasional overtime. The position requires physical work including lifting parts up to 30 lbs and standing for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a team to support a manufacturing operation.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to share ideas with others.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple requests.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed; availability for first/second shift.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team in support of a manufacturing operation with a goal of increasing productivity; decreasing downtime and waste.
• Assist all jobs on the plant floor as needed and maintain safety procedures.
• Follow all company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures.
• Maintain shop and shop equipment per 5S Standards.
• May be required to stack parts up to 30 lbs. for up to 12 hours.
• Other duties as assigned.
