Job summary

CHEP Services, LLC is seeking a Production Support associate to assist with lumber handling and repair/assembly line support in a warehouse environment. The role involves loading, stacking, prepping, and treating lumber to ensure smooth flow through the production line, while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

You will work on the production floor, move materials as needed, and backfill lines during breaks.

Qualifications

• Must be safety conscious.
• Comfortable with operating tools and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• No experience required, however familiarity with production support or materials handling is beneficial.
• Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic production environment.

Responsibilities

• Lumber/Material Handling: Feed lumber into designated machinery and workstations for repair and assembly.
• Move materials to and from the production floor as requested.
• Treat lumber and other material to ensure asset longevity.
• Production Support: Assist in maintaining an organized and efficient production area.
• May backfill the production lines during breaks or as needs arise.
