Job summary

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited degree program in a related engineering field.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, data analysis and continuous improvement concepts.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Regular and reliable attendance required.

Responsibilities

• Observe production floor and equipment operation to understand processes.
• Perform time studies and collect data such as cycle times, production rates, downtime and changeovers.
• Analyze data using Excel to identify bottlenecks, waste and improvement opportunities.
• Support improvement projects from identification through implementation and verification.
• Document results with project summaries, standard work and checklists.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Maintenance and Quality to implement solutions.
