Job summary

Cumberland Dairy, a DFA farm-owned brand, seeks a Filler Operator to operate extended shelf-life filler, set up equipment, and troubleshoot issues. You’ll work under GMP, ensuring quality product while meeting daily deadlines in a team-focused environment.

Starting pay is $21 per hour with a rotating 2-2-3 schedule, night shifts 6pm-6:30am, and a benefits package including 401(k) with company contribution and comprehensive healthcare. Overtime and weekend hours are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months related experience or training preferred.
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks.
• Must be able to read, speak, and write in English.
• Must be able to legibly write entries for record keeping.
• Must be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach and bend virtually the entire shift.
• Must be able to regularly lift up to 25 pounds, with capabilities to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate extended shelf-life filler and produce maximum quality product within specified ranges.
• Maintain, break down and set up equipment and machinery; troubleshoot operating issues.

JOB SUMMARY

Cumberland Dairy has immediate job openings for a Filler Operator team member to perform an array of functions including maintaining, breaking down and setting up equipment and machinery, while troubleshooting and resolving operating issues. Filler Operator will be responsible for operating extended shelf-life filler and producing the maximum amount of quality product within specified ranges, while following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and communicating effectively with all departments and meeting daily deadlines.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months related experience or training is preferred
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimal
• Must be able to read, speak, and write in English
• Must be able to legibly write entries for record keeping
• Must be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach and bend virtually the entire shift
• Must be able to regularly lift up to 25 pounds, with capabilities to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays
