Responsibilities

• Transport associates to and from work.
• Help with facility maintenance including keeping the facility clean.
• Assist on production line as instructed by supervisor.
• Feed machinery with sheets, Duvets, bathrobes, towels, tablecloths, napkins and mats.
• Maintain a clean and organized working station in production.
• Identify damaged, dirty, or mixed linen and sort appropriately.
• Ensure production yields meet targets as tracked by the IT system.
• Log into IT system while operating machinery as required.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
• Assist in janitorial tasks to maintain cleanliness of production areas and offices.

GENERAL PURPOSE

This position will be responsible for transporting associates to and from work. In addition, during the hours that you are not driving, you are expected to help with any facility maintenance including but not limited to keeping the facility clean, working in the production line as instructed, and following health and safety guidelines.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

When working as a driver:

• Ensures compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.
• Adheres to all traffic rules and regulations.
• Must be punctual and stringent about route schedules and make no delays in the pick-up and delivery.
• Must be prepared to work in any traffic pattern, severe weather, and strict deadlines according to our business needs.
• Must always be in full uniform provided by the company.
• Will always provide professional and courteous service to our staff.

When working in production:

• Feeding machinery with sheets, Duvets, bathrobes pillowcases, towels, tablecloths napkins, mats
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized working station.
• Ensure the linen being processed belongs to the account assigned.
• Identify any damaged, dirty, or mixed linen and properly place it in the correct containers.
• Maintain an average of 85% or above for production based on the IT system in place. (Spindle)
• Must be logged into the IT system in place. (Spindle) always while working on the machine.
• Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

When working in janitorial:

• Responsible for the general cleaning of all production, main office, interior and exterior building areas including parking areas
• Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and/or vacuuming floors
• Responsible for cleaning all assigned areas as assigned by management
• Dust walls, ceilings, machines, and equipment as instructed by management
• Other duties as assigned by management
