Job Title: Expediter
Department: Manufacturing
Reports To: Production Supervisor
Location: Anaheim, CA
Job Type: Full-Time (2nd shift 2:00PM- 10:00PM)

Under the supervision of the Production Supervisor, the Expediter is responsible for the efficient movement of parts throughout backend processes. This role supports production flow by ensuring parts are accurately relocated and tracked across designated workstations using hand trucks and scanners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport parts across the plant using a hand truck or other manual movement equipment.
  • Read and interpret shop routers to ensure parts are routed correctly.
  • Maintain working knowledge of plant layout and operational flow.
  • Accurately scan jobs in and out of designated processing areas using a hand scanner.
  • Keep assigned "In Areas" free from stagnant or unaccounted-for inventory.
  • Assist in validating inventory counts as needed ( Parts Count Training required ).
  • Support the movement of incoming materials to appropriate processing areas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of steady work history at a recent or prior employer preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required; candidates without a diploma may be considered with relevant experience.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Ability to understand measurements and properly use measurement tools.
  • Must be able to read, comprehend, and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Willingness to work swing shifts, weekends, or alternative schedules as needed.
