Job summary

Evonik Corporation in the United States seeks a Production Manager for the Reserve site. You will lead 24/7 production and logistics, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while driving continuous improvement and cost efficiency across operations.

You will manage a cross-functional team, collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain, and develop talent through coaching, performance management, and succession planning to sustain site performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or related technical field.
• 5–8 years in chemical manufacturing, production, or process operations.
• 3–5 years in supervisory or leadership roles in operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, 24/7 production and logistics operations meeting production, quality, and customer needs.
• Promote safety-first culture and ensure compliance with EHS policies and regulations.
• Lead RCA investigations and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Manage production scheduling, resources, and priorities with Supply Chain and Planning.
• Oversee warehousing, material handling, inventory, and shipments.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Maintenance to improve reliability and uptime.
• Maintain SOPs for process changes, new products, and equipment mods.
• Drive continuous improvement via OEE, yield, cycle-time, and analytics.
• Support NPD, scale-up, and capital projects to ensure readiness.
