Position Summary

Seeking experienced Production Excavator Operators to support our mining team near Denver, Colorado. Responsibilities include operating excavators in various soils and conditions, performing inspections, and completing tasks safely and efficiently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate heavy construction equipment safely, perform routine inspections, and conduct preventive maintenance.
• Support earthmoving and support duties in a production environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Work effectively within a team with minimal supervision.
• Communicate clearly and pay attention to detail.
• Work safely on slopes and in all weather conditions.
• Judge distances and slopes accurately.
• Collaborate with team members to meet safety, environmental, and production goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience operating 349-sized or larger excavators.
• Experience with Trimble GPS and reading stake grades and plans.
• MSHA Part 48 training preferred.
