Dalsin Industries is seeking a technically inclined operator for a hybrid role supporting Salvagnini MV/S4/P4 production systems. You will set up and run automated bending, punching, and material handling within a multi-discipline team, ensuring quality and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

• Operate Salvagnini MV/S4/P4 production system with focus on setup and operation.
• Handle material warehouse; load inventory; interact with WMS/ERP.
• Load, program, and troubleshoot bending and punching modules; verify tooling and safety.
• Perform daily PM checks, maintain quality, document results, and meet customer specs.
• Coordinate with engineering/maintenance to improve utilization and reduce downtime.

Job Summary:Thisposition is a hybrid positionencompassingseveraldifferent disciplines includingshipping/receiving/material handling/steel warehousingbut is focused onSalvagniniMV/S4/P4panel bendingequipment.Successful operatorswillprimarilybe responsible forthesetup andoperation ofan automated Salvagnini MV/S4/P4 production system. Thisincludesupstream and downstreamsupport. Individuals must be technically advanced inseveralfabricationprocessesas well aspossessa deep knowledge of Epicor ERP systems as they relate to production, shipping and receiving.Operatorsmustbequality and processorientated, beself-motivated, self-directed,work wellindependently and in a team environment, and be flexible in daily responsibilities.Essentially, thissmall team willoperatewith a very entrepreneurial mindset while prioritizing collaboration,communication,and coordination of dutiesto maximize production.

Hours

Monday-Thursday 6:15am-3:15pm, Friday 6:15am-12:15pm

Fully understands the integratedSalvagnini FMS system includinginteractivesoftwarefor eachcomponent(MV, S4 and P4)tooptimizethe production of materials through the entire system.

MV

Safely and accuratelyoperatematerial warehouse including:

• load and inventory raw materials into the material warehouse
• Efficiently and accurately interact with WMS software, codes,commandsand graphical interface.
• Proficient operation of SMD and understanding of relationship between SMD and MV

S4

Safely and accuratelyoperatepunching system including:

• punch tooling loading, sharpeningand maintenanceincluding punch head configuration, station use and identification.Confirming tools are loaded and locked into the punch head.
• Shear unit operation and use
• Manipulator/hold downs and clamps
• Loading conveyor and centering bar
• Deviators, scrap conveyors, partsbinsand stacker.

Safely and accuratelyoperatebending system including:

• Primary bending unit,rotator,toolingand supplemental accessoriesincluding CLA,OptionCut.
• Use of PCD de-stacker, loading software, RIP,
• Safe use of manual commands and program edits
• Compiling, loading,running programs in load and empty conditions
• Motives for stopping, suspending, resetting, running production.
• Understanding basic code commands,editsand modifications.
• set up and troubleshoot supplemental “internal to cycle equipment (e.g.: bending, hardware,spot-weld)
• Demonstrated skills operating equipment with NC, CNC controls.
• Detail orientation, eye and hand coordination, mechanical ability
• Advanced understanding of sheet metal and its properties
• Advanced blueprint reading and quality processes knowledge including equipment operation to ensure parts are fully inspected,documentedand meet customer requirements.

Safely and accuratelyidentifies, unloads, receives, andlocatesraw material from trucks. Physically and electronically moves andlocatesall raw material, WIP, hardware and supplies into designated areas based on standard processes.

Organizes,monitors, andconsolidatesscrap metal bins including preparing skids/tubs/dumpsters for shipment, weighing, andidentifyingmaterial types, creating BOL/packing slip, and contacting vendor for pickup. Work withpurchasingto reconcile any differences in weights/payment from vendor.

Prepares product for shipment. Loads and unloads trucks. Coor

Performs daily, weekly, monthly PM checksand inspections to ensuremaximumuptime.

Positively coordinates and collaborates with engineering and maintenance totroubleshoot system issuesandimprove overallutilization.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or general education degree (GED).

5+years’ experienceina manufacturingjob shoprequired.
