AdvanSix is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Production Engineering Co‑Op for the Spring 2027 term at our Philadelphia manufacturing facility. This role sits in the Production Engineering team within Operations and offers hands‑on opportunities to contribute to real‑world process improvements in a chemical manufacturing environment.

The co‑op will help develop and implement a productivity‑enhancing mobile system to support operator task management, data collection, and decision‑making,

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Analytical, problem‑solving and organizational skills are required.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 is required.
• Interest in chemical manufacturing, plant operations and process improvement.
• Experience with engineering analysis tools or software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a mobile system to enhance operator productivity, including task management and real‑time data capture.
• Collaborate with production engineers and plant operators to identify workflow gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Support data collection, validation and analysis to drive operational insights and decision‑making.
• Assist with process optimization initiatives and troubleshooting efforts across plant systems.
• Document system functionality, user requirements and process improvements.
