Job summary

ASTEMO AMERICAS, INC. is seeking a Production Engineer at the Berea Plant to execute engineering strategies and tactical plans. You will partner with leadership to set priorities and ensure effective implementation, acting as a strategic partner across departments.

The role requires independent judgment within guidelines while supporting production engineering and collaborating with Quality, Maintenance and Production teams to drive process improvements.

• Experience in production engineering and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to analyze and improve processes with focus on quality, efficiency and cost.

Responsibilities

• Support senior engineers in designing, planning, and coordinating production projects.
• Analyze and improve manufacturing processes focusing on quality, efficiency, cost, and equipment performance.
• Assist in identifying and resolving production issues related to equipment, technology, and workflow.
• Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance and Production to implement process changes.
• Research and communicate with suppliers to determine equipment and material specifications; assist purchasing decisions.
• Evaluate new or existing products and equipment to ensure they meet technical and quality standards.
• Use technical knowledge to troubleshoot problems and recommend effective solutions.
• Read, interpret and create technical drawings and schematics as needed.
• Communicate clearly with team members and other departments.
