Job summary

Astemo Berea Plant in Berea, Kentucky, is seeking a Production Engineer to execute engineering strategies and tactical plans. You will partner with department leadership to set priorities and ensure effective implementation, acting as a strategic partner across the organization.

Responsibilities include designing, planning, and coordinating projects, improving processes, troubleshooting issues, and reading schematics.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Experience collaborating with multiple departments to implement process changes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support senior engineers in designing, planning, and coordinating production-related projects.
• Analyze and improve manufacturing processes focusing on quality, efficiency, cost, and equipment performance.
• Assist in resolving production issues related to equipment, technology, and workflow.
• Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and Production to implement process changes.
• Evaluate equipment and materials and assist in supplier communications for specifications and purchasing.
