Job summary

Vidya USA in Florida is seeking a Production Engineer to maximise equipment reliability and production efficiency while ensuring compliance with cGMPs and 21 CFR parts. This hands-on role includes setup, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of encapsulation, tablet compression, and stick-pack lines to reduce downtime and waste.

You will partner with maintenance, drive CAPA actions, and support packaging operations from bottle-filling to labeling, maintaining strict quality and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Packaging Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience supporting manufacturing operations in dietary supplement, pharmaceutical, or food/beverage industries.
• Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Maximize line efficiency, reduce setup times, and minimize material scrap/waste.
• Lead setup, calibration, and changeover of encapsulation, tablet compression, and stick-pack equipment.
• Oversee end-to-end packaging process for dietary supplements to maintain throughput and quality.
• Perform root-cause analyses on machine malfunctions and implement CAPA actions.
• Enforce cGMP and SOP compliance; review and document validated process parameters.
