Job summary

Kinder Morgan, Inc. in Midland, TX seeks an experienced Well Operations Engineer to support safe, efficient well work in Permian EOR fields. You will collaborate with surveillance, development, operations, and geoscience teams to optimize field performance.

Responsibilities include rig scheduling, material management, RFMs with Procurement, and OPEX/CAPEX budgeting, forecasting and reporting. Requires a BS in Engineering and 4–10 years in oil & gas with downhole focus; hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 4–10 years of oil and gas experience with downhole operations.
• Experience in coordinating multidisciplinary teams and financial aspects.

Responsibilities

• Completes well operations engineering assignments of a broad scope.
• W belongs with surveillance, development, operations, and geoscience teams.
• Maintains workover and completion rig schedules.
• Liaises between field superintendents, supervisors and office personnel.
• Develops RFMs with Procurement and manages material availability.
• Manages OPEX & CAPEX budgets and forecasting.
• Develops MPR forecast and reporting.
