Job summary

Astemo Ltd. in Berea, KY, is seeking a production engineer to support engineering strategies and tactical plans at the Berea Plant. You will partner with plant leadership to set priorities and ensure effective implementation of process improvements.

You will work with Quality, Maintenance and Production teams to analyze processes, troubleshoot issues, interpret drawings, and communicate clearly across departments. A Bachelor's in Engineering and 1–3 years of related experience are expected.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Support senior engineers in designing, planning, and coordinating production-related projects.
• Analyze and improve manufacturing processes with focus on quality, efficiency, cost, and equipment performance.
• Assist in identifying and resolving production issues related to equipment, technology, and workflow.
• Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and Production to implement process changes or improvements.
• Research and communicate with suppliers to determine equipment and material specifications; assist in purchasing decisions.
• Evaluate new or existing products and equipment to meet standards.
• Use technical knowledge to troubleshoot problems and recommend solutions.
• Read, interpret, and create technical drawings and schematics as needed.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and other departments.
