Job summary

Arkema is seeking a Production Engineer to support manufacturing operations and drive operational excellence at our Alsip, IL facility. This highly visible role offers opportunities to contribute to new product commercialization, process optimization, and overall plant performance improvement.

Responsibilities include leading troubleshooting, coordinating product scale-up, supporting DeltaV process control systems and safety initiatives, and analyzing performance to identify improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering is required.
• 2+ years of chemical manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with process controls, process safety, Six Sigma, or scale-up activities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support daily manufacturing operations in a batch chemical facility.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts and implement sustainable solutions.
• Coordinate product scale-up and commercialization activities.
• Support DeltaV process control systems and process safety initiatives.
• Analyze operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
