Grace is seeking a Production Engineer to join our Production team at the Pasadena Catalyst Plant. The schedule is 9/80’s, every other Friday off, with production reps on a rotating weekly on-call list.

The role reports to the Production Engineer Leader at the Pasadena Catalyst Plant and focuses on safety, quality, and productivity. Key responsibilities include maintaining process capability, reporting metrics, driving process improvements, applying CTQ plans, performing MOC, and supporting

Qualifications

• BS degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Experience as a Production or Process Engineer.
• 3+ years engineering experience in a chemical manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities

• Maintains understanding of process capability & capacity.
• Reports production metrics in meetings and dashboards with downtime root causes.
• Identifies and defines requirements for process improvement / productivity projects.
• Ensures usage of process related best practices, standards, and CTQ plans.
• Develops process control support to minimize variations.
• Provides statistical data analysis for Process Control and RCAs.
• Conducts Management of Change (MOC) and participates in PSSRs.
• Participates in OIR/incident investigations and Process Hazard analysis.
• Prepares technical Daily Operating Instructions/work instructions for Operations.
• Leadership in the field by walking outdoors in units daily.
