Job summary

Zev Technologies is seeking a Production Engineer to connect Design Engineering with Production Operations, translating designs into stable, repeatable processes. You will develop work instructions, routings, and production documentation, while collaborating with Quality and Manufacturing to improve throughput and cost efficiency.

You will split time between CAD work and hands-on floor activity, using SolidWorks for fixtures and jigs, and leveraging Odoo for production data tracking and planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands‑on experience in mechanical/manufacturing engineering.
• 3+ years in a manufacturing environment focusing on process improvements.
• Comfort translating designs into producible processes with CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical link between design and production operations.
• Develop, document, and maintain work instructions and routings.
• Troubleshoot issues on the floor and implement corrective actions.
• Drive throughput improvements and cost savings.
• Support equipment layout, workflow, and capacity planning.
