Job summary

Astemo Ltd. is seeking an experienced Site Production Engineer to lead manufacturing process optimization in a high‑volume automotive environment. The role focuses on continuous improvement, automation, and advanced manufacturing techniques across current production and new programs.

You will collaborate with the PE department, drive Lean/Six Sigma initiatives, and ensure adherence to APQP, PFMEA, and Control Plans while mentoring a cross-functional team on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field required.
• 3+ years in automotive manufacturing, Tier 1 preferred.
• Experience with automated EV/HEV production environments preferred.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean/Six Sigma to improve OEE and throughput.
• Support NPI, automation, and Run-at-Rate activities.
• Ensure IATF 16949/ISO 14001 compliance and safety.
• Provide technical leadership to site production engineers.
