Job summary

CNX is seeking a Production Engineer to ensure assets are optimally configured to maximize hydrocarbon delivery from reservoir to gathering system. You will apply economics, safety, and engineering fundamentals to maximize free cash flow while supporting capital and expense budgets.

Role requires leadership of an interdisciplinary team, field travel, and collaboration with Reservoir, Midstream, and Operations teams to forecast production and identify system improvements.

Qualifications

  • 4-year Petroleum Engineering degree.
  • 5 years of industry field experience with preferences for: Downhole intervention (rig work, wireline, slickline, coiled tubing, tools), Other basins, Surveillance, Gas well deliquification, Nodal Analysis, Chemicals, Production facilities units, gathering systems, and compression.

Responsibilities

  • Drive safety and environmental compliance through engineering processes and controls.
  • Lead an interdisciplinary team to maximize asset performance.
  • Pursue technical advancement and mastery.
  • Perform production surveillance for long-term performance evaluation and optimization.
  • Plan long-term capital budgets for capillary string foamer, tubing and plunger-lift phases.
  • Provide analyses, troubleshooting and technical support for Production Operations and other teams.
  • Develop remediations and downhole solutions with procedures, cost estimates, economics and AFEs; plan and support project implementation.
  • Lead area and systems reviews with Production, Midstream and Reservoir Teams.
  • Coordinate with Facilities Construction Team for design and sizing of trees, flowlines, chokes, sandtraps and GPUs.
