PRODUCTION ENGINEER

Founded in 1980 by three surgeons, Boston Medical Products is a small company proudly manufacturing and distributing medical devices for ear, nose, and throat surgery. Located in Shrewsbury, MA, our modern facility features a 3,000 sq ft cleanroom and molding operation. Come join our team of professionals in a clean and comfortable working environment. The ideal candidate for this role has experience with medical devices, silicone injection and compression molding, and a strong mechanical background.

Experience Requirements Overview

• Molding experience required
• Engineering education
• Injection and compression molding machines
• Interpret equipment electrical drawings for testing and troubleshooting
• Cleanroom operation and preventative maintenance
• Tooling management, operation, troubleshooting, and repairs
• Molding machine setup, operation, troubleshooting, and repairs
• Production equipment operation, troubleshooting, and repairs
• Preventative maintenance of molding machines and production equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Continuous improvement
• IQ, PQ, OQ
• Quality system documentation including standard operating procedures
• Quality control processes and standards
• Training of production team members as needed
• Time management including project prioritization
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office based software (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
