Job summary

Victaulic, a global leader in mechanical pipe joining solutions, is seeking a Production Engineer to generate project submittals, maintain Bills of Materials, create new part codes, and develop production routers. You will use CAD tools to generate programs and drawings and verify runtimes and process efficiency.

In Cost Estimation, you will validate equipment capabilities, prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials and overhead, and review specifications and drawings for accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with CAD tools such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks and Excel.
• Ability to communicate with multiple groups across departments and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Generate project submittals and maintain Bills of Materials for part codes.
• Create new part codes for Parent and Children parts and routers for runtimes.
• Develop machine programs and drawings using CAD software; assess production runtimes.
• Validate equipment capabilities, material availability, and required skills for projects.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, and overhead; review project specs.
• Collaborate across departments; travel up to 50% during training.
