Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical/ manufacturing/ electrical engineering or related field.
  • 1+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment.
  • Experience with process improvement, troubleshooting, and manufacturing optimization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar methodologies.
  • Experience with production metrics, process capability analysis, and root cause investigation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily manufacturing operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production.
  • Analyze production processes and identify opportunities for improvement in productivity, cost, quality, and throughput.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for manufacturing issues, quality concerns, and process interruptions.
  • Develop and implement process improvements using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, standard work instructions, and process specifications.
  • Partner with Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations teams to improve overall plant performance.
  • Support new product introductions, engineering changes, and production transfers.
  • Investigate equipment performance and recommend upgrades or process enhancements.
  • Monitor production KPIs and develop action plans to achieve operational targets.
  • Drive a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Your Background
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Design engineering or a related technical discipline.

  • Experience with process improvement, troubleshooting, and manufacturing optimization.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in electrical equipment, transformer manufacturing, power systems, energy, industrial automation, or heavy manufacturing.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
  • Experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, and quality management systems.
  • Knowledge of automation, robotics, PLCs, or industrial controls.
  • Experience leading cross‑functional improvement projects.
