Job summary

Jensen Infrastructure in Shelton, WA seeks a Production Worker to join our fiberglass manufacturing team. You’ll be on your feet, perform layered fiberglass mat and cloth placement, trim excess material, and help mold prep.

You’ll spray resin and catalyst with a pneumatic gun, remove cured products, inspect and clean molds, and maintain a safe, organized work environment while supporting a fast-paced production schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience handling fiberglass materials and basic safety practices.
• Ability to work quickly and carefully in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to stand and perform repetitive tasks for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Place layers of fiberglass mat and cloth in molds and trim excess material.
• Spray chopped fiberglass, resin, and catalyst using pneumatic spray gun.
• Remove cured products from molds and prep molds for the next cycle.
• Maintain PPE and keep a clean, safe work area at all times.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOINGThe Production Worker ($23-$30 per hour, depending on experience) is a key position in our Shelton location. From start to finish you are responsible for the production of fiberglass products. Working in the production plant you will be on your feet moving quickly through the tasks of your day helping us meet customer needs.Reporting to the Production Supervisor you’ll primarily work with all members of the production team.A highlight of your day-to-day will include:• Performing various production duties including placing layers of fiberglass mat and cloth in molds, smoothing out wrinkles & trimming excess material.• Spraying chopped fiberglass, resin, and catalyst on mold, using pneumatic spray gun with chopper attachment• Removing cured products from molds as well as inspecting, cleaning and prepping molds for next cycle• Proper use of personal protective equipment at all times as well as maintaining a safe and clean work environmentWHO WE ARE LOOKING FORYou’re enthusiastic and motivated in a fast-paced environment.
