Summit Truck Bodies LLC. is seeking a Production Drafter to prepare new product design layouts and drawings for parts, weldments, and assemblies. The role requires drafting experience, knowledge of AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor, and a background in metal fabrication.

Qualifications

• Formal drafting education or equivalent experience is required.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor is essential.
• Experience in metal fabrication is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare new product design layouts and drawings for parts, weldments and assemblies.
• Revise and correct existing drawings to reflect changes.
• Create bills of materials and part lists for assemblies.
• Assign part numbers per established guidelines.
• Collaborate with Engineering Manager and Sales to interpret project direction.
• Communicate with other departments as needed for project work.
