Job summary

Aquent Talent is seeking a Production Designer in New York for a temporary role. You will prepare production-ready assets across digital, social, and video platforms, updating and adapting creatives while coordinating with a fast-moving team.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of production design experience, strong Photoshop/Premiere Pro skills, a solid design foundation, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines. This temporary position starts Sep 7, 2026 in the United States (New York).

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of relevant production design or graphic design experience.
  • Proficient with Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
  • Working knowledge of Figma; Adobe XD is a plus.
  • Experience releasing digital assets across platforms.
  • Strong layout, typography, and visual consistency.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare production-ready assets for digital, paid media, social, and video.
  • Refine and resize assets for placements and specs.
  • Incorporate feedback from reviews and leadership.
  • Prepare static, video, and animation assets for delivery.
  • Organize files and libraries with clear naming conventions.
  • Ensure timely delivery of assets according to timelines.
  • Communicate asset status with partners.
  • Attend project kickoffs and design reviews.
  • Track multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Collaborate with designers and producers to keep projects moving.

As a Production Designer, you will be instrumental in bringing creative visions to life, ensuring every asset is meticulously crafted and optimized for various digital channels. What You'll Do
  • Prepare and deliver production-ready creative assets across digital, paid media, social, video, and other platforms.
  • Update, refine, resize, and adapt existing creative for different placements, formats, and specifications.
  • Incorporate feedback and revisions following creative and leadership reviews.
  • Prepare static, video, and animation assets for final delivery.
  • Organize and maintain working files, final assets, naming conventions, and creative libraries.
  • Ensure files are accurately prepared, uploaded, and delivered according to established timelines and specifications.
  • Communicate asset status and delivery updates to creative and production partners.
  • Attend project kickoffs, creative reviews, sign-off meetings, and other production-related meetings.
  • Track multiple projects, deliverables, specifications, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, producers, and other creative partners to keep projects moving efficiently.
  • Support social and influencer creative adaptation into paid media templates.
  • Assist with light graphic design projects as needed.

The ideal candidate combines production expertise with solid graphic design fundamentals. You are comfortable taking existing creative and turning it into polished, platform-ready deliverables, incorporating feedback quickly, keeping files organized, and managing several deadlines without sacrificing accuracy. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to contribute to a small, dynamic team focused on high-volume creative output.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 1-3 years of professional experience as a Production Designer, Graphic Production Artist, Graphic Designer, or similar role.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
  • Working knowledge of Figma; approximately one year of experience is preferred.
  • Candidates with strong Adobe XD experience and familiarity with Figma may also be considered.
  • Experience preparing, adapting, organizing, and releasing creative files for digital platforms.
  • Strong basic graphic design skills and an understanding of layout, composition, and visual consistency.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
What Will Make You Stand Out
  • Previous experience supporting paid media, digital, social, or high-volume creative production.
  • Hands-on experience adapting existing creative across multiple sizes, placements, and platform specifications.
  • Experience managing creative assets, file structures, naming conventions, and final deliverables.
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong foundational graphic design and production capabilities.
  • Experience working within an agency, in-house creative team, or other industries with transferable production design workflows.
  • Illustrator experience is a plus but not required.
