Job summary

Ardor Printing in Snohomish, WA is seeking a detail-oriented print production specialist who excels in Adobe Illustrator and handling artwork so it prints accurately. This role focuses on preparing and adapting supplied artwork, not on creative design.

You’ll run equipment, manage color profiles, and collaborate with installers to keep jobs moving from file to finish. Monday–Friday, 8–5, with pay $25-30/hr DOE.

Qualifications

• Strong Adobe Illustrator skills with 2+ years in a design or print production environment.
• Ability to prepare accurate files and follow detailed job specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to catch problems before printing.
• Ability to work fast without losing accuracy.
• Willingness to learn equipment operation and work hands-on in a print shop.

Responsibilities

• Build print-ready files for full and partial wraps, wall wraps, signage, banners, decals, and rigid substrate work.
• Panel vehicles with correct bleed, overlap, and scaling for install.
• Check incoming artwork and resolve issues with fonts, images, resolution, color, and sizing before printing.
• Adjust supplied artwork to fit templates, measurements, and job specifications.
• Set up cut paths, white ink layers, and other production elements as needed.
• Run roll-to-roll and flatbed printers, including media loading, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
• Manage color profiles and keep output consistent across devices.
• Work directly with production and installers to keep jobs moving.

Ardor Printing is a large format print shop in Snohomish. Our team of 10 produces vehicle wraps, wall wraps, signage, banners, decals, and flatbed work.

We’re looking for someone with strong Adobe Illustrator skills who enjoys the technical side of design and seeing their work become a finished product. You’ll take incoming artwork, prepare it for print and install, and run the equipment that brings it to life. This is NOT a creative design role. The focus is on setting up and adapting supplied artwork, maintaining accuracy, and keeping production moving.

Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 to 5.
