V2X is growing! V2X is looking for a Production Supervisor to join our team!


Modernization & Sustainment seeking a Manufacturing and Depot Operations Production Supervisor supporting the Mechanical Assembly team in Indianapolis. The Production Supervisor leads a dynamic and multidiscipline Production team(s). Key tasks include Supports production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment.


Responsibilities:



  • Directs the day-to-day planning, execution, and control of resources (people, material, processes, technology, equipment, etc.)

  • Ensures department performance aligns with the business metrics and implements corrective actions as needed (cost/schedule)

  • Supports and drive continuous improvement culture, with particular focus on operations, efficiencies, safety, and functional teaming

  • Leads accurate and timely communication between MDO and other functions

  • Ensure MDO personnel have the required resources, tools, and training to meet required execution

  • Provides technical support on all aspects of MDO execution

  • Initiates disciplinary actions in consultation with HR and MDO leadership and performs individual performance evaluations as required



Desired skills:



  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with a particular emphasis on Excel. Familiarity with SAP or similar Enterprise Resource Planning software is a plus

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must



Education / Work Experience Requirements:



  • High school graduate or GED required. A minimum of 1 years' experience in a leadership environment is required and a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role is desirable

  • A bachelor's degree in management or leadership is desirable but not required

  • Manufacturing work environment experience preferred

  • Experience in a Collective Bargaining Unit environment

  • Familiar in AS9100 requirements, work environment preferred
