Job summary

Guhring, Inc. is seeking a Production Control Coordinator to manage production orders, labor transactions, and related manufacturing data on a daily basis. You will ensure timely processing and accurate reporting to support manufacturing operations and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with MS Office including Excel; Word and Outlook.
• Experience with data entry and keeping accurate records.
• Experience with ERP, MRP, or manufacturing information systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process, review, and maintain production orders, work orders, employee labor transactions, and related manufacturing data.
• Monitor and track the status of production orders to ensure timely completion and accurate reporting.
• Prepare, review, and maintain production logs, routing sheets, and manufacturing records.
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of work order information, labor reporting, and production transactions.
• Coordinate with production supervisors, department managers, and team leaders to resolve discrepancies and improve data accuracy.
• Generate and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly production reports and performance metrics.
• Maintain accurate filing systems and electronic records for production, inventory, and operational documentation.
• Support manufacturing planning and scheduling activities by providing timely production status updates.
• Assist in tracking inventory movement, material consumption, and order progress as required.
• Enter and maintain data within ERP, MRP, production control, and Microsoft Office systems.
• Investigate and correct production order, labor reporting, and costing discrepancies.
• Monitor compliance with established procedures and company policies regarding production documentation.
• Serve as backup support for other administrative and production control functions when required.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that improve production reporting accuracy, efficiency, and workflow.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
