POSITION DESCRIPTION
Position Title:Production Crew Member-Cargo Nets
Department:Production
Reports To:Production Supervisor
Status:Non-Exempt, Temporary (Approximately 10 months)

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Production Crew Member to join our manufacturing team. This role involves supporting operations across key departments, including hoses, first aid kit assembly, vinyl production, and aircraft chock manufacturing. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively to ensure quality production.

Job Duties
  1. Measure and Cut: Accurately measure and cut ropes, sealing ends to prevent fraying.
  2. Mesh Assembly: Insert horizontal and vertical ropes, securing intersections with knots.
  3. Splicing: Perform rope splicing for perimeter ropes and install thimbles at designated points.
  4. Inspection: Conduct quality control checks to ensure net consistency and structural integrity.
  5. Packaging: Properly package finished nets for shipment, ensuring secure packing and labeling.
  6. Ability to take instructions constructively.
  7. Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications

Minimum Education, Experience, and Certifications:

  • Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is a plus but not required. Training will be provided.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic tools knowledge.
  • Manual dexterity for assembly and inspection tasks.
  • Willingness to adapt tools and techniques.
