The Production Cost Modeler & Term Trading Consultant or Advisor participates in a variety of data analysis and modeling functions including identification of resource needs and selections, evaluating wholesale markets, planning and assisting with system operations, assessing other business or operational plans or items utilizing advanced qualitative and quantitative techniques, and regulatory support. Develop resource plan alternatives based on market trends and conditions, wholesale market changes or other analytical findings critical to the business.Develops high quality decision support analysison behalf of department to present to external stakeholders and other senior level leadership. Responsibilities may include complex analysis of wholesale markets, system operations, or other business or operational plans or items utilizing advanced qualitative and quantitative techniques, in development of the corporate fuel budget and forecasts,the energy hedging program and trading decisions.Functions as a subject matter expert in production cost modeling and model setup and evaluation, strong understanding of energy analysis and decision processes.
