Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Production Assistant to support the Head of US Scripted Production and a large team of executives and coordinators across administrative and executive assistant tasks tied to physical production.

You will build schedules, manage on-boarding, track production documents, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations on set and in the studio network.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of studio or production company assistant experience.
  • 1+ years of on-set physical production experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain day-to-day schedules prioritizing activities with good judgment and business understanding.
  • Assist with travel itineraries and expense reports.
  • Ownership of on-boarding process and space management for team.
  • Manage all administrative support functions, including meeting preparation such as video and conference call coordination, supply ordering, and team event coordination.
  • Compile and distribute notes for various team meetings.
  • Update and distribute studio contact lists and ensure that they are managed per studio requirements.
  • Compile, distribute, and store production documents (e.g., contracts, call sheets, calendars, reports and schedules) on the studio network and Synchronize.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors and show level counterparts.

The Production Assistant is responsible for a high volume of tasks including calendar management, organization of production documents, and production data tracking. This is a growth opportunity for those passionate about physical production and becoming production managers. Curiosity and interest in AI tools for TV production should be considered a must.

Key job responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities include:

  • Assist with travel itineraries and expense reports

A day in the life

The Production Assistant will support the Head of US Scripted Production and a large team of executives and coordinators in a variety of administrative and executive assistant roles relating to physical production. They will work closely with external show partners as well as internal stakeholders and often represent the team as a whole.

About the team

The Scripted Production team is one of Amazon Studios largest and most experienced teams, currently consisting of 8 executives and 4 coordinators working on approximately 30-40 titles in various stages of development. They work closely with internal teams as well as external show side teams to find ways to set up shows for success and to find ways to maximize production spend.

Basic Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of studio or production company assistant experience
  • 1+ years of on-set physical production experience
  • Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of digital media space including handling of all types of media equipment experience
  • Experience managing events/meetings in a global company
