Process incoming orders; receive, evaluate, and respond to written or telephoned internal customer inquiries in a timely manner. Work within established guidelines in order to achieve the objectives of the service agreement consistent with customer expectations, company policy and profit and quality requirements while directly supporting production and warehouse leadership as necessary.**Schedule: M-F 7:00 AM - 5:30pm (OT)****Stock Yards Facility - AURORA, IL****ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**Assist Production Leaders with order processing and completion.Assist Operations/Warehouse Leaders with inventory movement between Production and Warehouse.• Communicate with internal and external customers to support staff and customer needs.• Respond to general inquiries and telephone calls. • Respond to requests by researching information and take detailed messages. May be authorized to make decisions on routine matters as delegated by the supervisor. Refer problems to supervisor/manager for resolution. • Verify information and data to ensure market compliance with regulations and procedures. • Collect, track, and input data on relevant operations metrics to support tracking production and warehouse performance (including shorts, mispicks, dump/damage, and service levels.) • Check documents for accuracy and completeness, cross reference information. • Create and maintain basic charts, graphs, spreadsheets and databases to prepare for manager’s review. • Maintain files, record keeping activities and confidential data. • Problem resolution on a smaller or less complex scale or in a liaison role.
