Production Coordinator (Precision Tube Fabrication)

Role Overview

The Production Control Coordinator is a key team member responsible for liaising between internal and external organizations to ensure the smooth flow of components and assemblies through production, meeting strict deadlines and quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor, track, and move parts to ensure timely delivery to subsequent production stages.
  • Handle, package, and protect parts per SpaceX specifications.
  • Maintain scan and location accuracy within the shop and ERP system.
  • Coordinate with supply chain teams for on-time delivery of parts and services.
  • Collaborate with planning, procurement, engineering, and production teams to keep MRP/ERP data accurate.
  • Assist in resolving incorrect system data affecting demand or schedules.
  • Develop reports on needs, deliverables, and constraints for internal and customer use.
  • Support logistics through innovative workflow staging.
  • Manage material certifications to prevent use of un-certified materials.
  • Support inventory personnel with stock returns and purges.
Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience supporting administrative processes.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Over 3 years handling parts in manufacturing environments.
  • Strong computer skills, familiar with MS Office.
  • Experience organizing files and documents.
  • Inventory management experience.
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems.
  • Background in aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, or electronics manufacturing.
  • SQL and Tableau experience.
Additional Requirements
  • Willingness to work 1st or 2nd shifts, including overtime and weekends.
  • Shift hours: 1st shift (4:00 AM - 2:30 PM), 2nd shift (3:00 PM - 1:30 AM).
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs. unassisted.
  • Ability to stand for at least 8 hours.
Compensation & Benefits

Pay ranges vary by level: Level 1: $22.00-$24.50/hr; Level 2: $24.00-$27.00/hr; Level 3: $26.00-$30.00/hr. Salary is based on experience and skills. Benefits include stock options, bonuses, comprehensive health coverage, 401(k), disability insurance, paid leave, and holidays.
