The Floor Coverings International Production Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the installation of each job meets the expectations set during the sale. This role is crucial in providing a positive customer experience and ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and profitably.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet weekly with sales staff to review recent sales, customer expectations, and product orders.
  • Order all necessary products accurately and follow up on delivery.
  • Schedule jobs to align with customer and installer availability.
  • Keep customers informed about installation start dates, times, and work details.
  • Update job progress daily.
  • Obtain written permission for any changes in contracted work.
  • Confirm scope of work and payment with installers before starting.
  • Ensure delivery of the expectations outlined in sales.
  • Walk customers through the completed job and collect final payments.
  • Manage jobs to meet profit objectives.
  • Complete job costing reports within 24 hours of installation completion.
  • Continuously seek installers who offer better customer experiences at reasonable rates.
  • Resolve conflicts and complaints promptly.
  • Maintain an organized and presentable showroom and office.
  • Participate in Home Shows and training seminars as scheduled.
  • Attend at least one training session annually and stay updated on flooring innovations.
  • Attend weekly meetings with the Franchise Owner.
  • Log daily updates on job status and schedules.
  • Work towards weekly and monthly sales and installation goals.
  • Make decisions aligned with Floor Coverings International’s core values and mission.
