Position Overview

As the North American headquarters for G-TEKT Corporation, Jefferson Industries actively participates in the Global Automotive Industry. We offer design and development for press dies and other tools necessary to produce automotive products. The Production Coordinator will join our Hot Stamping Department on 2nd Shift and will plan and direct all activities related to hot stamping and laser cutting production.

Key Responsibilities

• Safety: Ensures team supports safety program, provides training, enforces safety policies, tracks and monitors safety to meet targets, applies reality principles to work‑related injuries and property damage.
• Quality: Develops TQM fundamentals into daily management practices; provides leadership and supervision to the hot stamping team; identifies root cause and counter‑measures; establishes daily, weekly, monthly reviews using CAPDo; supports operation budget and cost management; reviews production reports and resolves operational or maintenance problems; establishes and maintains production control standards; verifies training compliance; guides manufacturing plans (manpower, material, subcontract, tooling, equipment); coordinates across functions and suppliers for optimum production.
• Management: Supervises team leaders and associates; mentors to ensure high job satisfaction, technical advancement, and career progression; audits process flow to meet schedule and efficiency; audits training and standards compliance; communicates company initiatives and values; implements best practices to build high‑performance team; assists in operation business plans and cost/quality/delivery commitments; trains new associates; works independently; accepts assignments positively; proposes new work methods; other duties assigned.
• Supports JIC Management Policy of safety, morale, quality, cost & delivery; achieves departmental targets and business plan goals.
