A day in the life

The Production Coordinator role is critical to streamlining part movement throughout the factory. This includes the monitoring of the factory operation and addressing logistical problems inside the factory. This means regularly interacting with warehouse and logistics teams when parts are missing, late, or blocked, both physically and electronically, and then permanently solving the root cause. This includes interfacing with the test lab for staging/queuing of products with specific focus on improved flexibility of operation while minimizing non-value add communication and operation. It also entails constantly reducing "red tape" and overhead needed to maintain and improve quality, requiring work with automation, quality, enterprise technology, and manufacturing teams.

About the team

This is a fast-paced, intellectually challenging position, and you’ll work with leaders in multiple technology areas. You’ll have relentlessly high standards for yourself and everyone you work with, and you’ll be constantly looking for ways to remove non-value-add operations, reduce down-time, improve quality of the products, and reduce lead-time of builds and tests. We want individuals who are ready for this challenge and want to reach beyond what is possible today.

Basic Qualifications
  • 2+ years of industry work experience
  • High school or equivalent
  • Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday), or experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of repair of material handling equipment experience
  • Experience with computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), or experience with Microsoft office tools like Word, Excel, Outlook, and OneNote
  • Bachelor's degree, or Bachelor's degree or above
  • Experience with high-volume, high-velocity, large-scale file management (workflow orchestration, file-movement, permission management, etc.)
  • Experience in operations or inventory management
  • Experience in manufacturing, process, or industrial engineering
  • Experience with SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau
