Production Coordinator

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Supervise and Coordinate activities of all production and production support workers involved in the repair process. Sort out items that cannot be repaired in-house and route to appropriate department. Assign and distribute work to technicians as required. Coordinate and process evaluations, approvals, and returns as required per customer instructions. Assist repair technicians with procedures and lend assistance as needed. Assist Shipping Rec / Parts Room / OSS departments as required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Process received items for evaluation and pricing
2. Assign work to employees based on capability, priority and delivery requirements
3. Interface with Customer Service and Sales to resolve issues and answer questions
4. Coordinate changing delivery/ priority order requirements as necessary
5. Monitor delivery schedules for on time delivery of orders
6. Coordinate component part/replacement unit needs with appropriate departments
7. Coordinate processes and employee activities to meet company measurables
8. 5S events and reorganization Projects
9. Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor/ manager
