Job summary

Live Nation is seeking a Production Coordinator to support the DC, Baltimore and Virginia markets in producing live concert events. You will assist the production manager with advancing and executing shows regionally, coordinating personnel, logistics, and on-site needs.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and willingness to work long hours, including weekends and holidays. A laptop and proficiency with Excel/Word/Google Docs are expected.

Qualifications

  • Must have production experience in live entertainment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Able to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word and Google Docs.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Willing to work long shifts, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Production Manager with administrative and logistical tasks.

THE JOB

Production Coordinator for the DC, Baltimore and Virginia markets. Support role for producing live concert events. Assisting the production manager with the process of advancing and producing shows in our region.


WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO


  • Production Coordinator for the DC, Baltimore and Virginia markets.

  • Responsible for assisting the Production Manager with administrative and logistical show and event production tasks.

  • Coordinate and manage personnel, including runners, catering assistants, and backstage assistants.

  • Responsible for petty cash distribution, reconciliation, company card usage.

  • Coordinate local ground transportation.

  • Maintain and submit casual labor timesheets.

  • Coordinate limited aspects of food and beverage with local/touring caterers.

  • Assist with any other aspect of show production, such as show pass and guest list distribution.

  • Assist with artist/tour needs and requests.


WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING


  • Calm / Professional and customer service oriented

  • Prior production experience in the live entertainment industry

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

  • Ability to make clear concise decisions, sometimes with limited information

  • Computer literate in Microsoft Excel and Word, Google Docs

  • Employee will need a functional laptop

  • Must possess superior interpersonal communication and organizational skills

  • Flexible schedule with the ability to adjust depending on the needs of the show

  • Ability to work weekends/holidays and late hours

  • Must be punctual and possess good time management skills

  • Positive, driven attitude, team player, strong situational awareness

  • Knowledge of region to properly locate restaurants, stores, music stores, area attractions, services, etc.

  • Have the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while remaining pleasant and professional at all times.

  • 21 years of age or older

  • Preferred: 2 years or more of experience in a similar role or knowledge of stage/touring operations

  • Ability to work long shifts - show days can be 18+ hours long

  • Moderate to loud noise level

  • Capable of heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs)
