Job summary

Dion's in Albuquerque seeks a Production Coordinator to support daily food production operations, work with the Production Manager, and coach team members to uphold quality, sanitation, and safety standards.

You'll coordinate labor scheduling, inventory, GMP adherence, SSOP documentation, and on-the-floor training in a fast-paced, team-driven environment with opportunities for growth and a stable full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Previous experience in food production or manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Support the Production Manager with daily production coordination, including labor scheduling and area readiness.
• Maintain GMPs and ensure sanitation, SSOPs, and quality documentation are followed.
• Lead daily/bi-weekly meetings focused on quality, sanitation, and team performance.
• Coach and train production team members on processes and safety.
• Maintain inventory, par levels, and compliance with health regulations.
• Identify and communicate opportunities for improvement to management.
• Facilitate a clean, safe, and efficient production floor.

Location: 4595 San Mateo Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM | Status: Full-time, non-exempt, 40 or more hours per week | Pay: $18 - $23, DOE | Benefits: PTO, 401(k) with match, health insurance, gym discounts, and more!

Position Overview:

The Production Coordinator supports daily production operations to ensure safe, high-quality food while meeting daily and weekly production demands. This role works closely with the Production Manager to help coordinate production activities, support and guide production associates, and maintain strong standards for quality, sanitation, and safety.

The Production Coordinator plays a key role in keeping our production floor running smoothly. You'll help coordinate people, processes, and product while leading by example in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

What You'll Do:

• Support the Production Manager with daily production coordination, including labor scheduling, opening and closing assigned production areas, managing par levels, overseeing inventory, and maintaining quality standards.
• Ensure all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) are consistently followed.
• Maintain documentation related to corrective actions and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs).
• Facilitate daily and bi-weekly production meetings focused on quality, sanitation, GMPs, and overall team performance.
• Lead sanitation processes for assigned areas while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Ensure compliance with all City and FDA health code regulations and required documentation.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and communicate them to the Production Manager.
• Provide hands-on, in-the-moment coaching and training to production team members.

Schedule Requirements:

This position follows a rotating four-day workweek. Employees are scheduled to work four days per week, with shifts falling on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and/or Saturday, based on operational needs. This means you may work four of these five days in a given week. Wednesdays and Sundays are typically days off, but occasional scheduling on those days may be required to support business needs.
