Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Consistently demonstrates superior customer service skills to external and internal guests by displaying Spotlight on Service behaviors and OWN IT skills. Maintains an upbeat, positive attitude, friendly and helpful demeanor, positive energy, and enthusiasm. Uses smiles, eye contact, and a friendly tone to project warmth. Creates a welcoming atmosphere and celebrates customer wins. Is prepared to serve, well-informed about facility hours, promotions, and guest information; greets guests warmly to build relationships. Anticipates guest needs and provides fast, flawless service, executing all service programs to prioritize guest satisfaction. Checks for satisfaction and uses the Service Recovery process to resolve issues. Promotes Total Rewards programs and memberships. Provides a warm farewell and thanks guests for visiting, always projecting Caesars positively.

Understands and responds to internal customer needs, communicating in a friendly, respectful, and clear manner. Provides accurate information and seeks answers when unsure. Meets service delivery times as per department standards. Works cooperatively with team members across departments, speaking positively about the company, coworkers, and customers.

Food Preparation Responsibilities:

Prepares all food orders, including meats, fish, poultry, and related items, in a timely and accurate manner. Produces foods for banquet functions, presenting them attractively. Uses various cooking methods such as sauté, grill, broil, steam, fry, and poach. Prepares soups, sauces, gravies, and other complex foods as instructed. Organizes and coordinates food preparation per the Chef’s instructions, checking quality and readiness. Replenishes hot and cold foods during events. Operates cooking stations and equipment, including sauté and broiler. Manages carving stations at banquets. Ensures cleanliness of work areas and utensils before and after use, following safety and health regulations. Maintains a professional demeanor, greets and interacts with guests, and completes assigned tasks efficiently. Prepares for busy periods and adheres to attendance and policy guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Must pass a Food Service Sanitation course within 90 days of employment.
  • Qualified for Intermediate Cook and Cook roles.
  • Capable of working at all kitchen stations and managing inventory, including forecasting usage and preventing spoilage using FIFO.
  • Ability to replicate recipes accurately after observing.
  • Possesses Serve Safe certification and can instruct staff on sanitation practices.
  • Ability to oversee stewarding tasks like area upkeep and cleaning.

Must be able to work in smoky environments, sit and stand for extended periods, and obtain/maintain a PA Harness license.
