Plant Power Fast Food in Escondido is seeking a Production Cook/Kitchen Team Member. You will produce large-batch recipes for our commissary and assist in a ghost kitchen for guest orders, shakes, and curbside service.

The role emphasizes precise following of recipes, quality across batches, and dependable performance in a fast-paced environment. Expect a $20/hr starting rate plus tips and free meals with a Tuesday–Saturday schedule.

Qualifications

• San Diego County Food Handlers permit required or to be obtained.
• Strong work ethic and dependability (punctuality every shift).
• Ability to stay calm and decisive in busy periods.
• Commercial or production kitchen experience is a plus, attitude matters most.

Responsibilities

• Produce large-batch recipes in a commissary using commercial equipment and follow recipes for consistency.
• Portion, package and label finished products for distribution with FIFO storage.
• Maintain stock levels and proper pars; keep storage organized.
• In ghost kitchen, cook line items for guest orders, make shakes, and run curbside orders; ensure accuracy and speed.
